Oh well
Well, my husband was laid off tonight. He brought home two fairly substantial checks that should keep us going for a little while, until he gets back to work. I hope.
It is depressing. In the construction biz I am used to it but it isnt really possible to totally get used to it and totally numb to frequent job loss.
It should be okay though.
It is certainly going to take me awhile to get used to his new schedule. I was loving his twelve hour a day seven day a week work schedule. Everything was going so well at home. I have been calm and more productive than I ever am when he is home more often. It is so much easier to get stuff done when he is gone, for some reason.
