Sick of sick
My little girl is under the weather again : (. I am not exactly sure what is wrong either.
Late last night she started complaining about a tummy ache. She said it didnt feel like she was going to puke or anything, it just hurt a bit.
This morning when she woke up she said it was mostly better and she felt fine to go to school.
After school,she said the stomach ache came back while she was at school and the nurse checked her and said she had a fever of 99. They kept her at school the rest of the day though (and never called me about it).
As the afternoon wore on she felt worse and started acting fairly listless and tired. She took a very long nap and when she woke she felt quite warm so I took her temp. It was 102.4.
So far, the only symptoms she has are the fever, a mild tummy ache that comes and goes and not feeling like doing much. I am not sure what is going on.
I figure I will keep her home from school tomorrow and keep a close eye on her and call the doctor if things get worse or dont start improving. I hate mystery illnesses.
I called my dad and he of course told me I should rush her to the dr. because she might be having apendicidis. I wasnt even really thinking of that before, but now that he has mentioned it I am slightly worried.
I am also worried she has another UTI. If I can find the lab slip I think I will bring in a urine sample just to make sure.
